In support of National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week I am approaching the one year anniversary of my blog. I have grown a lot over the past 11 months. I have made many wonderful new contacts. I have learned to be more open and honest about my health - with myself, and with my family and friends. The Watermelon Credo
Watermelon has been a source of inspiration for me recently! Last week I was happily munching on some watermelon while on twitter and I posted this: "Is watermelon good for me? It seems too indulgent to be healthy! Yummm..." It was meant as a lighthearted comment, but it created such a buzz of enthusiasm for watermelon I was overwhelmed. Conversation on Isolation
I made the statement in one of my recent posts that "Fibromyalgia and chronic illness can be very isolating if you let it." I wrote it in reference to a conversation I was having with members of my support group, trying to come up with ideas to encourage inactive members to attend.
